If Bethlehem schools are closed or delayed 2 hours due to weather, there will be NO QUILT meeting; if schools are delayed for 1 hour, the meeting will be held.

Q.U.I.L.T. Meeting Information

 

Meets on the second Friday each Month (September - June) at
 
   Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave., Delmar, NY  
   9:45 - about noon ( Doors open at 9:15 am)
 
Meeting day workshops generally take place during the afternoon of the meeting .  Guests are welcome at the monthly meetings; a $5 donation is requested. 

The annual membership fee for the guild year is $25.

Warm Clothing Collection - at our November-March meetings.  Bring wearable coats, hats, gloves, other winter clothing to donate to the Capital City Rescue Mission.  Questions-contact Pat Coleman.

  3rd Saturday of the month, 10:00 to 12:30, Bethlehem Town Hall

 

Capital Region Antique Quilt Study Group  - Sat., Apr 17, 2010, 10:00am to 3:00pm, Brookside Museum and Saratoga County Historical Society,6 Charlton Street,Ballston Spa, NY.  Topic: a "working" meeting to look over some of the Brookside Museum's quilts and the accession information to see if we can add any "textile history" details

Other Suggestions:

   Make a service quilt or rail fence blocks for our service day in September.

  Summer project: quilts for Albany Hospice, Camp Erin (Sept. 2010).  Bunk bed sized quilts (42-50 wide, 70-82 long).  Contact  Marcia Hajeck    for more information or with completed quilts.

   Make a fleece blanket for the Double H Ranch sponsored by Project Linus.  Click here for some patterns.

   Quilt lap blankets for Veterans and wounded soldiers. Details at
